She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Charlotte McQueen.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11th, 2016 at 11 AM at Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg with a viewing from 10 until 11 AM. The interment will be private.

     John W Dearolf was born on 29 August 1918 at Pennsylvania.1 He married Dorothy Wimer on 28 March 1943 at Lancaster, Pennsylvania. John W Dearolf died on 3 January 2008 at Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 89, HIs obituary reads:
John W. Dearolf, age 89, of 333 May Post Office Road, Strasburg, died Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. He was born in Bart Township, a son of the late Harry and Martha Gregg Dearolf. He and his wife Dorothy E. Wimer Dearolf were married 64 years on March 28.

John retired from Sensenig Corp where he was employed as a cost manager. He was an avid hunter, and enjoyed fishing especially with his two great grandchildren. Earlier he coached a Strasburg Little League baseball team for many years and was a member of the Mt. Eden softball team.

John was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a member of the Black Log 3 + 4 hunting camp and was a member of the Strasburg Sportsmen Association. He was a member of Mt. Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church, Quarryville where he served as usher and former council member.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Barry, married to Pat Reinhart Dearolf of Quarryville; a granddaughter Jodi, married to Bryan Long of Lancaster; and two great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by a sister Sarah Welk.

Funeral services will be held from Mount Eden Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1241 May Post Office Road, Quarryville on Monday at 2:00PM with Rev. Herbert A. Lohr officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 7:00-9:00PM and again on Monday from 1:00PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers. William G. Yohn, 67, of 220 Brimmer Ave., New Holland, died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family and the hospice chaplain. He fought a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Vintage, he was the son of the late William and Wilda (Gregg) Yohn. He was married 25 years on Oct. 1 to Jennifer (Mann) Yohn. Mr. Yohn worked for 15 years as a truck driver for J.D. Eckman's in Atglen, retiring in 2003. Bill enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, watching ice hockey, and playing his banjo in a blue grass band, "Blue Mt. Express." Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Melonie McDevitt of Lancaster, Amy Yohn of Rothsville, and Christinia Yohn of New Holland; four grandchildren, Britney, Kimberly, Cody, and Brenna; a sister, Freida Gerhart of New Holland; a brother, John, married to Tootie Yohn of New Holland; and a sister Jan Yohn Groff of Lancaster who died just 5 hours after Bill. Preceding him in death is a sister, Ellen Coleman. The family would like to thank Hospice of Lancaster County for their kind care during Bill's final days. Bill's wish was to have no services.
