A Mass for Edwin J. Packard, 88, a longtime resident of Rahway will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Church, Rahway, after the funeral from the Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 W. Milton Ave., Rahway.

Mr. Packard, who died Monday in Rahway Hospital, was a sales correspondent with Merck and Company in Rahway for 45 years.

He was a member of the Merck and Company Quarter-Century Club.

Born in Elizabeth, Mr. Packard is survived by Catherine, his wife of 65 years; daughters, Catherine Turk and Tricia Michaels; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.³ He was buried on 14 February 2002 at Saint Gertrudes Cemetery, Colonia, Middlesex, New Jersey.
