     Daniel G. Summers was born circa 1949 at Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.2 He died on 4 April 2013 at Bob Fryer & Family Impatient Center, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Daniel G. “Danny” Summers, 64, of Manheim and formerly Paradise, died Thursday, April 4, 2013 at The Bob Fryer & Family Inpatient Center from complications of Dementia.
Born in Lancaster, Danny was the son of the late Jacob D. and Jean (Bixler) Summers. He is survived by his siblings, Judy A. married to Gerald Hoffman of Lancaster, Virginia married to Larry Hamill of Willow Street, Benjamin married to Bonnie Summers of Lancaster, Norman married to Louise Summers of East Petersburg, Michael married to Faye Summers of Sinking Spring; a sister-in-law Brenda Summers of Mount Joy and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Martin.
Danny was always happy and cheerful and made everyone smile. He enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles and loved playing pool, basketball, singing and dancing.
His family would like to thank the staff at Keystone Human Services for their years of loving care.
The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11 AM in the Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1199 Valley Road, Quarryville, PA, with The Reverend Douglas M. Hileman officiating. The family will greet friends from 10 AM until 11 AM in the church. Private interment in the adjoining cemetery.

"Mrs. Lucy B. Kern, 80, died of a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday morning at her home on Kirk Road, Austintown township. Born in Armstrong county, Penna., April 15, 1879, she was a daughter of J. A. and Eliza Jane Cousins, and most of her life was spent in Austintown township. She was a member of the West Austintown Methodist church, and Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church. Her husband, William H. Kern, died in 1940. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Amy K. Siersdorfer, Mrs. Bessie Krause, Mrs. Brunetta Cramer, Mrs. Leah Davis and Miss Nettie Kern, all of Austintown twp; two sons, John J. of Youngstown and William H., at home; three sisters, Mrs. B. T. McHenry of New Kensington, Pa., Mrs. James Everett of Blairsville, Pa., and Mrs. Harry Roberts of Cincinnati; a brother, Dunn Cousins of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services, with the Rev. George Glock officiating, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Shriver-Allison N. S.
