This census shows a value of 2500 for property owned by John Miller.14 He, 81, appeared as Head of Household on the census of 4 April 1950 at Railroad St, Templeton, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.16 He and Emily Catherine Morrow lived in 1952 at 1830 Anne Ave, Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Emily & John Miller resided with Josephine & Floyd Brown and family beginning in 1952. Josephine had been raised by John and Emily and was their only family remaining. Neither John or Emily received Social Security annuities.17

Grace Leona Morrow was listed as a resident in William Hays Morrow and Grace Leona Morrow's household in the census report on 1 April 1950 at McCartney Road (2nd on left), Moon Township, Alllegheny, Pennsylvania.8 She witnessed I asked my mom if she knew Matthew Seitzer. She said she only knew of
him. The story was that she walked into a bar ( of course, where else)
and
found him having a drink with another woman. She knocked him off the bar
stool ( can't you just picture that) and then threw his stuff on the
porch. Wasn't there an article in a paper about a bar brawl with John
Morrow and wife? As far as I knew, none of us ever knew his name which
makes it interesting that we have a Matthew Morrow now. Years from now
someone is researching their roots they may think Matthew was named after
his great step-grandfather!!!

     Mary Melissa Moore was born in July 1846 at Porter Township, Clarion, Pennsylvania.2 She was born in 1847 at Pennsylvania.3 She married John A Cousins, son of Issac Cousins and Jane (Jennie) Henry, in 1866.1,4 Mary Melissa Moore died on 6 May 1871 at Dee, Armstrong, Pennsylvania. Pension record states death as May 8 1871. Her cause of death was childbirth according to family lore.
