Gene was born December 2, 1931 in Youngstown the son of James and Bessie (Kern-Krause) Sullivan. Gene was a member of the Church, long time member of Western Star Lodge F&AM, former member of Mahoning Saddle and Bridle, Past President of Ohio P.O.A. Association and former 4-H advisor of Canfield Bridle Buddies. Gene enjoyed traveling; he has toured the U.S. by car many times and spent his winters in Florida. Gene has worked 59 years as a Master Plumber out of Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 396, had been co-owner of Commercial Piping Company for 10 years and graduated from Austintown Fitch High School. He is survived by his children; Kathleen Sullivan, James E. (Sallie) Sullivan, Roberta (Harry) Reinhart, David R. Sullivan, Becky (Dan) Megown all of Canfield, Mark (Jody) Sullivan of New Middletown and Jody (Bob) Guthrie of Salem. Gene also has 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and his companion of 12 years Donna Kirkbride.
