Thomas Herbert Hays died in his house at 419 Penney Street, Rochester, Pa., on Thursday evening, August 8, 1946. Mr. Hays was aged 69 years five months and three days, having been born in Washington Township, Armstrong County, on March 5, 1877, a son of the late William and Catherine Hays. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Catherine Hays; a son Homer Robert Hays, Ashland, Ky; a grandson; a brother, William Hays of Adrian and three sisters, Mrs. Emily McCauley, Adrian, Mrs. Letitia Marshall of Dayton and Mrs. Ruth Crissman of McKeesport. Funeral services will be held in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock DDST. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
