Alice Ehrgood was born on 5 September 1881 at Chester, Pennsylvania. On the 1880 census for John Keller. 4 houses down is a Henry Airgood (looking closely it could be Harry), he is a 59 year old man with his wife and two sons living with him! poor Matilda, I believe she was molested and raped by this neighbor!!! Alice was born in 1881, Matilda age on the 1880 census is 8, but Ellen is age 10, I believe they reversed these two ages because Ella was born 1873, so she would have been 7 or 8. Matilda's marriage certificate said born abt.1869, if that is correct she would have been about 10 in 1880 and 11 or close to 12 when Alice was born. Matilda would have been about 15 then when she had Margaret 1886. So John and Mary raised Alice and Margaret.1,2 She married Walter Troop, son of Thomas Jefferson Troop and Lydia Ann Keller, on 16 February 1904.3 Alice Troop died on 29 May 1944 at W Bradford Township, Chester, Pennsylvania, at age 62. Cause of death was coronary thrombosis.2 She was buried on 2 June 1944 at Glen Run, Atglen, Chester, Pennsylvania.2
