     Merrill Lynwood Hassel was born on 15 April 1917 at Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.^2,1 He married Margaret Jane Homsher, daughter of Frederick Lloyd Homsher and Mary Elizabeth Bryson, on 7 October 1944 at Bristol, Pennsylvania.¹ Merrill Lynwood Hassel died on 15 August 1972 at Effingham, Illinois, at age 55; died while on a trip.³ He was buried on 18 August 1972 at Strasburg Mennonite Cemtery, Strasburg, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.³

She married John Bryson Homsher, son of Frederick Lloyd Homsher and Mary Elizabeth Bryson, on 7 June 1934 at Valley Forge Chapel, Pennsylvania.^2,3 Mildred A Eager died on 21 April 1999 at Maple Farms Nursing Home, Ephrata Twp, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 84.³ She was buried on 25 April 1999 at Longeneckers Reformed Mennontie Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.⁴ Mildred A Eager Find-a-Grave.com ID # 14908007.
