Bollinger, 67, of Paradise, PA, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 surrounded by family at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Huntingdon, PA, the eldest son of the late Denzel A. and Frances Woodward Bollinger, and was raised in Paradise, PA. He was the husband of the late Marcia Martin Bollinger who died in 2011.
He is survived by: daughters, Lara F. Bollinger of Honolulu, HI and Jennifer M. Bollinger of Paradise, PA, fiancé of Douglas Weidman of Lancaster, PA; sister, Debra K. wife of Carlton R. Gregg of Paradise, PA, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Dale A. Bollinger.
Fred graduated from Pequea Valley High School and Elizabethtown College. He loved his job as a Project Manager for Communications Construction Group, from which he retired. Previously he was an insurance agent for both Nationwide and Audrey Insurance Agency as well as a cable installer for Suburban Cable. He was an Eagle Scout, A Pequea Valley Jaycee, a founding member of the Pequea Valley Model Railroaders club, and a member of the Hershey Camera Club. He and his wife worked at and later managed a food stand for St. John's United Methodist Church at Rough and Tumble in Kinzers.
A memorial service will be held at St. John's United Methodist Church, 3001 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 7 pm. The family will greet friends after the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603. He was a member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Gap for 69 years.
A hunter and fisherman, he was a life member of the Eastern Road & Gun Club of Gap.

He was married to Betty J. Garver Doutrich for 31 years on Oct. 29.
Surviving besides his wife is a sister, Elizabeth Brubaker of Kinzers.
