In addition to enjoying traveling, Eddie had a passion for playing golf. He was a member of the Lancaster Liederkranz and the Germania Band Club of Manheim. Most of all, Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Anita, wife of Eric Hill, of Randleman, NC, Diane Lesher of Lancaster, and Brenda Finley, companion of Doug Hinton, Sr., of Washington Boro; two stepsons, Todd Kaylor of York, and Tony Kaylor, companion of Deborah Hoffer, of Lititz; seven grandchildren, Angel, Shaun, Nadine, Nicole, James, Summer Rae, and Kenneth; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Enos Kellenberger, Jr., of New Providence. He was also preceded in death by seven siblings, Harold Kellenberger, Lester Kellenberger, Verna Mae Murphy, Raymond Kellenberger, Irene Mackey, Helen Ferguson, and Betty A celebration of Eddie's life will be held on Friday September 7, 2018 at 11AM at the Hempfield Church of the Brethren, 1186 Stevens Street, Manheim, 17545. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. An automotive mechanic, Joe owned and operated, Campbell's Garage on Cabbage Hill for many years, until he retired in 1970. After his retirement, he and Blanche traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico in their motor home from 1970 until 1995. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and bridge.
He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Joseph Campbell, Jr., who passed in 1959, his sisters, Kathryn Mylin, Evelyn Gregg and Idabelle Gregg and his brothers, Milford, Vaux, and Paul Campbell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Celebrate Joe's Life in a memorial service to be held at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 528 W. Orange St. (corner of Pine & W. Orange Sts.), Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart. An automotive mechanic, Joe owned and operated, Campbell's Garage on Cabbage Hill for many years, until he retired in 1970. After his retirement, he and Blanche traveled extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico in their motor home from 1970 until 1995. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and bridge.
He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Joseph Campbell, Jr., who passed in 1959, his sisters, Kathryn Mylin, Evelyn Gregg and Idabelle Gregg and his brothers, Milford, Vaux, and Paul Campbell.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Celebrate Joe's Life in a memorial service to be held at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 528 W. Orange St. (corner of Pine & W. Orange Sts.), Lancaster, PA on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Private family inurnment will be held at Conestoga Memorial Park.
