Kellenberger, daughter of Enos George Kellenberger and Daisy May Rapp, before 1950.1 Harry R Stauffer married Margaret L Knepper after 1959.1 Harry R Stauffer died on 12 July 2010 at Gordonville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 73. Rry Russell Stauffer, age 73 of Gordonville, PA entered his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, July 12, 2010. He was the husband of Lois Ann Stauffer. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Knepper Stauffer. He was born in Paradise, son of Ruth E. Miller Stauffer of Paradise and the late Paul R. Stauffer. He was a member of the True Gospel Baptist Church of Quarryville. He had worked for Herrs Chips of Nottingham as a salesman and then for the former Kenosha Transport of Lancaster retiring in 1998. He had taken several Bible courses at Liberty University of Virginia and also at Lancaster Bible College.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are 4 children: Sharon Herr of Paradise, Michael husband of Michelle Stauffer of Lancaster, Kevin husband of Donna Stauffer of Manheim, Karen Stauffer of Paradise, 3 step children: Michael husband of Monica Vok of Ohio, Mark husband of Jacqui Vok of Maryland, Dawn Marie wife of Dietmar Tannheiser of Virginia, 10 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 5 siblings: Frank husband of Janis Stauffer of Leola, Evelyn wife of Earl Denlinger of Lancaster, Galen Stauffer of Delaware, Richard Stauffer of Nottingham and Toye Kauffman of Quarryville. He was preceded in death by three children: Tina, Faye, Timothy Stauffer and a brother: Robert Stauffer.
He enjoyed reading his Bible, having devotions and taking evening walks with his wife, playing guitar to gospel music. His love for the Lord was shown by placing a tract in all the locations he visited. He had a burning desire for souls to be saved. Philippians 1:21: For to me to live in Christ, and to die is gain.
Funeral service will take place from the Shivery Funeral Home, 3214 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Saturday, July 17th at 2 p.m. with the Pastor Sam Furches and Pastor Jim Roland officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Monument Cemetery, Paradise. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
