Levi Mowrer, ninety-one, 544 W. Orange St., died at 10:15 p.m. Monday at the home of his son, Walter B. Mowrer, Myerstown R1 where he had been visiting the past two months. He had been in ill health for the past three years.

He was born in Providence Twp., a son of the late Adam and Anna Marran Mowrer, and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Loyal Order of the Moose, No.299 of Lancaster. His wife, the former Elizabeth J. Wenger, died six years ago.

These children survive, Annie L. wife of Ira Clark, Lancaster RR, Mrs. Minnie Charles, Millersville R1: Walter B. Myerstown R1: I Howard, Lititz and Mrs. Mabel I Dull, this city; also 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
