Alene Pearl Copeland1

Father*Joe Copeland1
Mother*Ida Copeland Lane1

Alene Pearl Copeland was born on 6 June 1927 at Lone Wolf, Kiowa, Oklahoma.2 She married Clarence Albert Feister, son of Jacob Sylvester Feister and Dorothy Goldsworthy, on 26 March 1954 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.1,3 Alene Pearl Feister was buried on 5 September 2021 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado.4 She died on 5 September 2021 at Colarado at age 94; On Sunday morning, September 5, 2021, Alene Pearl Feister passed from this life into the presence of Jesus. During Alene's life, she lived on a farm, in town, and in the city, worked on a telephone switchboard, received a college business degree, worked in an office to help develop the American Jet Engine, got married and helped to raise two kids, and was a church secretary. She continued working in offices as an executive assistant, mostly in banking and oil businesses. She fully supported her husband as he realized his goal of becoming a college educator.

Alene had a strong alto/tenor voice but preferred playing the piano, especially in church, where she rarely had to look up a hymn because she knew them all. Even recently in her 90s, she played the piano for the residents of her assisted living community. Alene had a good sense of humor and often responded with a dry remark. And it has been said, "She was just a card". She loved the Lord, Clarence, her kids, her extended family, and serving others when she could. Many people had the privilege of a dessert, or a potluck dish made by the hands of Alene.

Alene is survived by her two children, Marcy and Craig, with their spouses Jim and Dede (respectively). She also has two grandsons, Josh and Jeremy, with Natalie as Josh's wife. Alene's extended family is in Oklahoma, Texas, California, and Pennsylvania. She leaves many friends behind as she served with Clarence at Applewood Church and Mississippi Avenue Baptist Church.
