She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by a brother, Clarence T. Armer Jr. of Ephrata; sister-in-law, Helen Armer of Christiana; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: a son, Herbert D. Andrew; a brother, William F. Armer; and a sister, Evelyn M. Kachel.

     Clarence Thomas Armer Jr and Zelda Troop were divorced. Clarence Thomas Armer Jr was born on 27 August 1922 at Parkesburg, Pennsylvania. He married Zelda Troop on 31 October 1949 at Maryland. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending local auctions.

Surviving are four daughters, Brenda wife of Wilbur Brundege of New Holland, Lynda wife of Marlin Huss of Ephrata, Donna wife of Robert Snader of Leola, Susan wife of James Shannon of Ephrata; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

     Evelyn May Armer was born on 9 March 1930 at Christiana, Pennsylvania. She married John Lester Kachel, son of Solomon Kachel and Mary E Herr, on 4 April 1952 at Middle Octorara Presbyterian Church, Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Evelyn May Armer died on 20 January 2013 at Conestoga View, Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 82; Evelyn M. Kachel, age 82 formerly of Quarryville, PA passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Conestoga View, Lancaster, PA. She was born in Christiana, daughter of the late Clarence T. Sr. and Mary Knott Armer. She was a member of Solanco Bible Church. In the past she had worked at the former Hamilton Watch of Lancaster. She loved going to the beach, music and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by 2 children: Barbara A. wife of Shawn Albright of Quarryville, Thomas L. Kachel of Quarryville, 3 grandchildren: Dana Albright, Christopher & Tanya Kachel, 2 siblings: Emily A. Andrew of Lancaster, Clarence T. Armer, Jr. of New Holland. She was preceded in death by a brother William F. Armer. Graveside service will take place at Sadsbury Friends Burial Grounds, 1089 Simmontown Road, Gap, PA on Thursday, January 24th at 10 a.m. with Pastor James Roland officiating.1 She was buried on 24 January 2013 at Sadsbury Friends Burial Grounds, Gap, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1
