Born in East Donegal Township, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Sarah Goodling Smith.
She lived in Chicago, Ill., for the last 30 years. While in Columbia, she worked at the former Second Street Silk Mill.
She was a member of Columbia Methodist Churches United.
Surviving are a daughter, Bertha, wife of Harold Heisey Sr., with whom she resided; a son, Roy Clark, Conestoga; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a sister, Mrs. Betty Eshelman, Marietta R1.

Mr. Clark was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and the Spruce Run Hunting Club. He loved all animals, especially dogs. In his free time, Roy liked bowling, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Clark is survived by two sons: Roy and Richard Clark; and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Heisey.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Gundel Funeral Home, 3225 Main Street, Conestoga with Rev. Melvin H. Stehr officiating.
