Walter Kennedy pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev. A.V. Jeffers, pastor of the Church of God. There were a number of beautiful floral tributes. The pall bearers were Orris Sharrer, Donald Heasley, Morgan Sharrer, Audley Anthony, Frank Bell and Sydney Slagle. The interment took place in the Cochran Cemetery.
