Born Nov. 1, 1904, in Templeton, she was the daughter of John and Margaret (Bell) Sharrer.
She was a retired clerk formerly employed by the PPG Store in Kittanning.

She was a member of the Manorville Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Henry Shepard of Kittanning and Robert Shepard of West Kittanning; nine grandchildren and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison L. Shepard on Nov. 30. 1967; and one daughter, Margaret McCaslin on Jan. 17, 1974.

Funeral services were held at the Kennedy Funeral Home, Friday Oct. 4, 1985 at 11 a.m with the Rev. Greg Golden, pastor of the Manorville Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Cochran Cemetery.
