Alice L Seiple, a neice was raised by Harvey and Louisa. After his marriage Mr Seiple entered the oil fields of Venango County and was engaged in the oil buisness for 18 years. He met with an accident while there, caused by a mill explosion, which for a time seriously injured him. In 1888 he returned to Lancaster County and for a time engaged in the restaurant business. About six years later he undertook a livery business, which he managed succesfully. In 1898 his wife died in Quarryville borough. On Oct 9 1901 he married Miss Louella Holmes, daughter of Dr. J. E. Holmes of Virginia. They now reside in Quarryville. in 1903.7 He was a man with his 'own income' on 4 May 1910 at Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.8 He and Louella H Seiple appeared on the census of 4 May 1910 at Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
