     Martha E. Miller was born on 6 October 1872 at Lancaster, Pennsylvania.^1,2 She married Hayes T McCauley, son of William McCauley and Susan Kuhns, in 1895.^1,4 Martha E. McCauley was buried on 19 March 1950 at Bethel Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, Quarryville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.² She died on 15 May 1950 at Little Britain Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 77. Cause of death wa Congestive Heart failure due to hypertension.^1,2
     Her married name was McCauley.¹ She and Hayes T McCauley appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at East Drumore Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Martha is recorded as being the mother of 2 children, 1 living at time of this census.⁴
