     Walter C. Jones was born in 1905.1 He married Cecelia C. Ranck, daughter of Harry W Ranck and Susan Gregg, circa 1926.2 Walter C. Jones died in 1963.1
     He and Cecelia C. Ranck appeared on the census of 28 April 1930 at Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; Census states family lived in a rented home and paid $4.25 mo rent.2

     Allen D Baxter was born on 18 January 1909 at Salisbury Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1 He married Anna Ranck, daughter of Harry W Ranck and Susan Gregg, on 21 June 1930.2 Allen D Baxter died on 10 July 1983 at age 74. His obit: Allen D. Baxter, 74, Honey Brook R4, Chester County, died Sunday at the Hickory House Nursing Home, Chester County, follwing a long illness.

He was the husband of Anna M. Ranck Baxter. They celebrated their
53rd wedding anniversary on June 21.

He was born in Salisbury Township, a son of the late John K. and Elizabeth Kessler Baxter.

He was a member of the Honey Brook United Methodist Church. Baxter worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, retiring
in 1974.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, John Baxter,
Kinzer; one sister, Gertrude Spotts, Quarryville; and several nieces and nephews.

     Myrtle Summers was born in 1913 at Gap, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1 She married John Elijah Ranck, son of Harry W Ranck and Susan Gregg, on 3 July 1933 at Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.2 Myrtle Summers died on 13 May 2003 at Essa Flory Hospice Center, Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, after a brief illness

Myrtle S. Ranck, 90, of Gap, died Tuesday at Essa Flory Hospice Center after a brief illness.

Mrs. Ranck worked for the former G.B.S. Sewing Factory, Blue Ball, and the former Paradise Seed Factory.

A member of Limeville United Methodist Church, Gap, she formerly was a member of Gap United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.

She enjoyed making afghans, camping and gardening.

Born in Gap, she was the daughter of the late George and Mattie Smoker Summers.

Published on May 14, 2003, INTELLIGENCER JOURNAL (LANCASTER, PA.)1,3 Her funeral was held at Shivery Funeral Home, Christiana, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on 16 May 2003. She was buried on 16 May 2003 at Bellevue Presbyterian Cemetery, Gap, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1
