She was a member of the Chris-Penn Chapter #455 Order of the Eastern Star, Christiana, where she had served as Past Matron.
Surviving are two nieces: Ruth H., wife of Fred Martin of Leola, Nancy Ruth Jones of Santa Monica, CA; two nephews: Dr. Thomas W., husband of Cecelia Jones of The Villages, FL, Dr. Frederic H., husband of Jo Lynne of Santa Cruz, CA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dean J. Hauck, and one brother, H. Walter Jones.
A Memorial Service will take place at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Bartville Road, Steelville, PA, on Thursday, February 8th, at 11 AM with the Rev. Michael Remel officiating. There will be a time to greet the family following the service. The interment will be in the Homeville Friends Burial Grounds, Oxford, PA, on Thursday, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, PO Box 76, Bart, PA 17503. Arrangements by the Shivery Funeral Home, Christiana, PA.
