     John Henry Hutchinson Jr was born on 20 June 1946.¹ He married Betsy Doutt on 11 November 2000 at Oil City, Pennsylvania.¹ John Henry Hutchinson Jr died on 23 December 2010 at Seneca, Venango, Pennsylvania, at age 64; John Henry Hutchinson Jr., 64, of Kirkwood Avenue, Oil City, died unexpectedly at 8:36 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, in the emergency room at UPMC Northwest, Seneca.
Born June 20, 1946, he was a son of the late John Henry Hutchinson Sr. and Thelma Hawk Vroman.
John was a 1964 graduate of Oil City High School.
He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in 1964 and 1965. He was an aeronautical mechanic, stationed at Lakehurst, N.J.
He was employed as a machinist for a number of machine shops in the Meadville and Oil City areas. He retired in January, 2010.
Mr. Hutchinson was a member of the Oil City Moose Lodge, and a past master of the Seminole Masonic Lodge No. 304 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he previously resided.
He was of the Christian faith.
John enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at home.
Everyone will miss his good-hearted nature and his unique sense of humor.
He was married in Oil City on Nov. 11, 2000, to the former John H. Hutchinson Jr. Betsy A. Doutt, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Jon, Mark and Adam Hutchinson, all of Oil City, and Angela Lewis and her husband Kevin of Oil City; four stepchildren, Tierney Doutt of Oil City, Tristan Evans of Oil City, Tara Doutt of Pittsburgh, and Tyson Doutt of Sharon; 15 grandchildren; his stepmother, Beatrice Hutchinson of Oil City; three brothers, Jim Hutchinson and his wife Karen of Rouseville, Roland Hutchinson of Riverside, and Dan Morris and his wife Dawn of Titusville; a sister, Darlene Birkett and her husband Tom of Washington; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Betty Dickerson of Warren; a sister-inlaw, Paula Hernan and her husband Rick of Warren; and three brothers-in-law, David Dickerson of Russell, Dale Dickerson of Clarendon, and James Dickerson and his wife Elaine of Warren.Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Hile-Best Funeral Home, Inc., 2781 Route 257 in Seneca, Cranberry Township.
Deacon Walter Jones, chaplain at UPMC Northwest, will officiate.
