Born October 12, 1918 in Kinzers, she was the daughter of Christian and Ledema (Bowers) Keneagy. She was a member of Leacock Presbyterian Church.

Mim was a graduate of Paradise High School in 1936. She was accepted into nursing at the Lancaster General Hospital and graduated in 1940. She earned her RN in 1942. After the attacks on Pearl Harbor in 1942, she joined the Army Nurse Corps to serve her country in the European Theater of Operations. In 1945, she left the Army Nurse Corps with a promotion to Captain and served in various VA hospitals. Mim retired in 1974 after 30 years of government service.

Mim is survived by a brother, Bruce Keneagy of Branford, FL, and various nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Harold, Woerth, and Emmanuel Keneagy.
