     Harry I Mease was born on 3 January 1927 at Mountville, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.2,3 He married Alma C. Haberstroh, daughter of William Amand Haberstroh and Sophie C Smith, on 2 January 1956.2,4 Harry I Mease died on 20 January 2011 at at home, West Hempfield Twp., Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 84; Obituary:
Harry I. Mease, 84, of West Hempfield Twp., passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at home. He was the husband of Alma C. Haberstroh Mease with whom he celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on January 2, 2011. He was born in Mountville, son of the late Charles E. and Dorothy Olewiler Mease. He worked for Tidy Products for twenty-five years and also worked in the parts department for Caterpillar for twenty years before his retirement in 1988.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society, AARP. Veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII as a tailgunner on a B-25 until his discharge; lifetime member of American Legion Post #466 Marietta; and enjoyed golfing.

Surviving in addition to his wife, three sons: H. Michael husband of Sandra H. Mease, Columbia; Robert B. husband of Deborah Mease; and David M. husband of Kimberly A. Mease all of Lancaster. Four grandchildren: Eric, Christine, Nicholas, and Daniel. Two brothers: Paul husband of Evelyn Mease, Mountville, and Charles husband of Kathy Mease, Leola. Two sisters: Mary Fischer, Willow Street, and Arlene wife of Arthur Remp, Lititz. He was preceded by a granddaughter: Michaela.

The Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry Street, Columbia, PA 17512 on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Kenneth F. Lawrence as celebrant. Interment in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, with Military Honors being accorded by Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call for a visitation at the church from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. Please omit flowers; memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Catholic Church, or the Four Diamonds Fund c/o Hershey Medical Center, 500 University Drive, Hershey, PA 17033. Arrangements by Workman Funeral Homes, Inc. Mountville/Columbia.4 His Memorial Service was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St, Columbia, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on 25 January 2011.4
