Mrs. Bertha Evans Davis, forty-two, widow of John H. Davis, died at her home, 321 W. Main Street, New Holland, Thursday evening 7:45 o'clock after an illness of four weeks of a complication of diseases.

She was a member of the New Holland U.B. Church.

Surviving besides his wife are 3 children: Cathy A. Eby wife of David F. Rossetti of Palmyra, PA, Bethany K. Eby of Portland, OR, Chester Craig husband of Karen Keneagy Eby of Kinzers, 3 granddaughters: Harmony Ayala, Jamie McGinnis & Carissa Knight, 7 great grandchildren, 2 brothers: Robert husband of Betty Herman Eby of Willow Street, Richard husband of Kathy Beck of New Holland. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: William & Robert Eby. Funeral service will take place from the Pequea Presbyterian Church 273 Cambridge Road, Gap, PA on Saturday November 30th at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Beth Engel will be officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Pequea Presbyterian Church Missions Fund, 273 Cambridge Road, Gap, PA 17527..¹
