Norman Clark, forty-nine, 539 N. Second St., Columbia, died at noon Friday of pneumonia at his home. He had been ill for one week. He was born in Columbia, a son of Alfred and Nancy Clark, of Columbia.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church, Columbia, the Pennsylvania Railroad Relief Association, the Pennsylvania Railroad Traimen and the Susquehanna Aerie, No. 293 Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was employed as a brakeman by the Pennsylvania Railroad for twenty years.
Besides his wife, Mar, two children, Roy and Bertha, both at home; and a sister Mrs. Clarence Bridges, Columbia.

FUNERAL
CLARK - Entered into rest in Columbia on April 14, 1939, Norman Clark in his fiftieth year. Many websites list her father as Isaiah Conover and her place of birth as Gloucester City, NJ, however I have never seen a source for that information.2,4 She was buried on 7 November 1862 at Georgetown United Methodist Cemetery, Bart Twp, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.5 Charlotte Conover Find-a-Grave.com ID # 44549851.

     George Eckert Murray was born on 18 December 1860 at Georgetown, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1 He married Anna Elizabeth Mellinger, daughter of Christian Mellinger and Salome Hawthorne, on 24 December 1882. George Eckert Murray died on 18 December 1941 at Masonic Home, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at age 81. Cause of death was acute dilation of heart, due to chronic myocarditis and anemia.1

     He 1850 Census recorded on Aug 26 for Paradise Twp shows a Henry Murray 26 yrs residing with Henry & Catherine Murray both 66. Seems to be son. He Comparing birth dates on the tombstone of a Henry Murray buried at Georgetown and those of John & William Murray seems to indicate they were brothers. He and Rebeca Weaver? appeared on the census of 11 June 1860 at Kinzers, Paradise Twp, Lancaster.3 Henry Murray witnessed is listed in directory in Paradise Township, occupation laborer, home post office Kinzers. in 1869 at Paradise, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.4 He and Rebeca Weaver? appeared on the census of 6 July 1870 at Kinzers, Paradise Twp, Lancaster.5 Henry Murray and Rebeca Weaver? appeared on the census of 24 June 1880 at Paradise Twp, Lancaster.6 Henry Murray appeared on the census of 1900 at Paradise Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; 1900 with a wife named Bertha, believed to be incorrect, should have been Rebecca, born Aug 1834, sons named Wilson & Clinton.
