     Clayton Leroy Houck was born on 15 May 1894 at Honeybrook, Chester, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 He married Arlene Hampey, daughter of John Hampey and Elsie Herr, on 20 April 1963.4 Clayton Leroy Houck died on 20 February 1976 at Lititz, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 81. Obituary reads: Roy C. "Casey" Houck, 81, Lititz R1, died Thursday at 12:05 a.m. at home of a heart attack.

Until his retirement in 1970, Houck had been a carpenter for R/M Materials Co., Manheim, for 20 years.

A member of Ranck’s United Methodist Church, he was the husband of Arlene Hampey Houck. Born in Honey Brook, he was the son of the late Walter and A1ice Moore Houck.

Surviving besides his widow are two daughters: Esther Hillsworth, Morgantown, and Mary Jane, wife of Kermit Oberholtzer; a son, Leroy Houck, Lititz; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and six sisters: Annie Horning, West Lawn; Mary, wife of John Lowery, New Holland; Verna, wife of Nathan McCarthy, Lincoln; Bessie, wife of Earl Smith, Mount Joy; Bertha, wife of Lester Beck, Washington; and Arlene, wife of Richard Herman, Ephrata.

Cause of death was apoplexy.4
