Elwood B. Neidamyer, sixty-one, a butcher at the Central Market House for 35 years, hanged himself this morning in the garage of his home at Talmage.

He was pronounced a suicide at 10:30 a.m. by Dr. Ralph Golden, deputy coroner from Brownstown.

His wife, the former Alta L. WIntrode, found his body about 12 minutes after he had left the house this morning. Dr. Golden said he had been depressed.

He was born in Oregon, Pa., a son of the late Clayton and Anna Witmer Neidamyer. His mother died Feb. 22.

WORLD I VET
Neidamyer was a member of the Ebenezer Evangelical Congregational Church in Brownstown, of the Lebanon County and Swatara Beagle Clubs, and the West Earl Sportsmen's Assn. As a sergeant in the 79th Division in France during World War I, he was wounded by shrapnel.

He returned and opened a meat market stand in the Central Market House in the early 1920's.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Joan, wife of Kenneth R. Rynier, Lancaster; two grandchildren, and two sisters, Hazel, wife of Abram Stauffer, East Petersburg, and Anna, wife of Paul Ness, Oregon.1 Elwood B Neidamyer Find-a-Grave.com ID # 88914790.

     Absalom B Cousins was born on 11 October 1861 at North Buffalo Township, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.3,4,2 He married Polly Ann Hartman, daughter of Michael Hartman and Sally Klurgleson?, on 9 April 1881.4,2 Absalom B Cousins died on 25 July 1944 at at his home, Kittanning, Armstrong, Pennsylvania, at age 82. Cause of death was coronary occlusion. His obituary read:

A. B. Cousins died at his home in Kittanning R.D.4 Tuesday morning, July 25, 1944, at 12:50 o'clock, following a lingering illness. Mr. Cousins was aged 82 years, eight months and 14 days having been born October 11, 1831 in North Buffalo Township, a son of the late Thomas and Mary (Bowser) Cousins. Mr. Cousins had been retired for a number of years. He was a member of West Kittanning Brethren Church.
Surviving are four sons, Harry, Thomas, Charles and Harvey Cousins, all of Kittanning R.D.4; two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Bennett of West Kittanning and Mrs. Nellie Claypoole of Kittanning R.D.4, and 42 grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the home of Mr. Cousins' son, Harry in Kittanning R.D.4 after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held in North Buffalo Methodist Church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Arthur N. Malles officiating. Burial will be made in the Center Hill Cemetery(actually in Grace Brethren Cemetery).

Annie is recorded as being Mother to 8 children, 7 living at time of this census.6 Absalom B Cousins witnessed the death of Alexander Cousins on 17 November 1914 at North Buffalo Township, Armstrong, Pennsylvania; Cause of death was heart failure due to diseased heart. Funeral Director was H. E. Montgomery, Kittanning, PA.7 Absalom B Cousins and Annie Cousins appeared on the census of 22 March 1920 at North Buffalo, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.      Margaret Alcretia Hays was born on 21 October 1883 at Pennsylvania.1,2 She married William George Billman before 1903.1 Margaret Alcretia Hays died on 19 April 1921 at Madison Township, Armstorng, Pennsylvania, at age 37. Cause of death was congestion of lungs contributed by influenza.1,2 She was buried on 21 April 1921 at Saint Marys Episcopal Cemetery, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.
