The deceased lived for many years at Templeton, this county and was related to the Ritcheys, Cousins and other well known and prominent families. The remains will be taken to New Bethlehem this evening and the funeral services and interment will be held there Saturday afternoon. Rev. Cousins, pastor of the Manorville M.      Eleanor May Carson was born in May 1878 at Parkers Landing, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.1,2,3 She married Samuel Clyde Scott circa 1909.4 Eleanor May Scott died on 13 January 1960 at Bay Ridge, Anne Arundel, Maryland, at age 81; Funeral services for Mrs. Eleanor C. Scott, widow of S. Clyde Scott, Pittsburgh wholesale lumber dealer, will be held tomorrow in the Conroy Funeral Home, Sheraden. Burial will be in Allegheny County Memorial Park. Mrs. Scott died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Keown at Bay Ridge, Maryland. She formerly lived on Tundall Street, Sheraden and was former member of the Sheraden Community Church. Her husband was a member of the Dailey and Scott Lumber firm and had served as president of the Pittsburgh district Lumber Dealers Association for many years. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Scott is survived by two sons, William C., of Colorado and Daniel M. Scott of Buffalo, NY; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. - Pittsburgh Post Gazette, Friday, January 15, 1960.5 She was buried on 16 January 1960 at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.6
