     Margaret J Colvin was born on 11 November 1924 at Lewistown, Mifflin, Pennsylvania.¹ She married Jack Oliver Shoff, son of Preston Shoff and Eva Geisler, on 19 May 1951 at Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^3,1 Margaret J Shoff died on 9 August 2009 at Mount Joy Hospice, Mount Joy, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 84; Margaret J. Shoff, 84, of Millersville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Hospice of Lancaster County in Mount Joy following a brief illness.

Born November 11, 1924, in Lewistown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Bickel) Colvin. She was married to Jack O. Shoff for over 58 years.

A Veteran of WWII, Marge proudly served with the U.S. Army. She was a lifetime member and past president of the Millersville/Manor VFW Post #7294 Women's Auxiliary.

Mrs. Shoff worked for the bookstore at Millersville University from 1969 to 1979. She enjoyed spending time at her second home at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware where everyone was welcome.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeff Shoff, fiancé of Gail Smith, of Lancaster; three daughters, Colleen Rankin, of Conestoga, Jacqueline, wife of Fred Harvey, of Lancaster and Sue, wife of Ron Kirchner, of Willow Street; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Ammon Pannebaker, of FL and her two dogs, Tony and Belle.

Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA 17551, 717-872-2266 on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10 AM. Interment will be in the Millersville Mennonite Cemetery, Millersville, PA. Friends may view at Scheid's on Thursday between 9 and 10 AM. Kindly omit flowers. Memorial Remembrances can be made in Margaret's memory to any animal charity or to Hospice of Lancaster County.
