Mrs. Johns was born March 11, 1880, a daughter of David and Hannah Heginbotham Cousins. Surviving besides her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Nannie Allshouse, Dawson; Mrs. Violet Lyle, Vandergrift; Mrs. Evelyn Tanoff, Templeton RD 1; Mrs. Leona Altman, Wampum; three sons, James W. Bowser, Elderton; Warren Bowser and Dan Bowser, both of Kittanning. Thirty two grandchildren also survive as do many great grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Daniel H. Cousins, and a sister, Mrs. Blanche McDonald, both of Adrian. Friends may call at Merwin (Smith) funeral home after 7 tonight, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 Saturday. Rev. John W. Snyder, assistant pastor of First Church of God, Woodward Ave., will conduct the service. Burial will be made in the family plot in Limestone Church of God cemetery.
