.Damage to the extent of several hundred dollars resulted Sunday morning at 11 o'clock when cars driven by Dr. M. N. Harris. Cashtown. and David Musketnuss. Lancaster, crashed near the crest of highway west of here. No one was injured.Musketnuss was following a sedan driven by Lewis Gaiter, of Chicago, going west on Newman's hill and was in the act of passing Gaiter when Dr. Harris, driving east, appeared over the crest of the hill. In order to avoid a crash Dr. Harris drove his car off the highway on the right side of the road, opposite the O'Brien filling station, but was unable to prevent the Musketnuss car crashing into his machine. Both cars were traveling with lights on due to a heavy fog. Dr. Harris' car was towed to the D. S. Mickley garage. Cashtown, where it was estimated damage would total at least S150. The left side of the car was smashed. Other damage included a crushed running board and fender, twisted
axle and broken wheel. A smashed radiator, broken lights, a crushed fender and two tires which blew
out due to the impact of the crash were included in the damages to the car driven by Musketnuss. Damage was estimated at more than $100.
Patrol man F. L Mayers of the state highway patrol investigated the accident and stated that a charge of improper passing would be laid against Mustketnuss before Justice of the Peace Clyde L. Shultz, Cashtown.

She enjoyed crocheting, coloring and puzzles. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Ethel Miller of Ronks, wife of Mary’s late son Clifford E. Miller, 3 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 5 siblings: Bertram Keneagy, Pauline Hess, Thelma Rodgers, Arlene McGee, and Romaine Keneagy. There will be a graveside service at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, on Tuesday, January 2nd at 11:30 with a time to view right before the service. Pastor Greg Impink will be officiating.
