The bible was shown to me when it had been part of a public auction near the post office were I worked. The woman that purchased the bible brought it to me because the whole town knew I was into local history and thought I could tell her what we could do with the information in the bible. I never guessed it would be a person that I'd been hunting for nearly 30 years. I hadn't known that Susanna had married a Bryson before she married William Murray. I had been told that her married name was Murray so I wasnt searching for a Bryson. Anyway, the woman that bought the bible wouldn't sell it to me, but allowed me to copy the family information pages. She wanted the bible to place in a log home that had been located across the street from my post office and had been moved when this woman and her husband bought the log home. Because the home was built about the time the bible was dated, she wanted to keep the bible. So I had to settle for the copies, but from this information I was able to connect nearly 400 people that I had THOUGHT were related but hadn't been able to prove it.
