     John William Morrow Jr was born on 24 April 1956 at Sewickley, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.1 He died on 20 December 2013 at UPMC Cranberry Place, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, at age 57. His obituary: John William Morrow Jr., 57, of Slippery Rock, died Friday, December 20, 2013 at UPMC Cranberry Place after a long battle with cancer. He was born April 24, 1956 at Sewickley, Allegheny County, PA to John William Morrow, Sr. and Martha Ann Stolar Morrow. He married Deborah Ann Kriever on October 16, 1976. He was a 1975 graduate of Quaker Valley High School. He was employed by Baierl Chevrolet in Wexford for 27 years as an auto body technician before his illness.

John loved spending time with his family, going to his camp in Brookville, PA, hunting, fishing, and NASCAR.

John is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie, and son, Brian D. at home; a daughter, Danielle L. (Jesse Whitman) of Austin, PA; granddaughter Jocelyn L. Whitman of Austin, PA; his parents in Leetsdale, PA; sister, Janice A. (Barry) Ruth of Ambridge, PA, brother, Gary K. (Yvonne) of Pierpont, OH; his in-laws, Bertha M. and George D. Kriever of Sewickley, PA; sister-in-law, Shirley J. (Shawn) Smith of Powder Springs, GA; sister-in-law Denise R. (Bob) Lawrence of Sewickley, PA, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Service will be conducted at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock, PA 16056 on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 8:00pm. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 6:30pm until time of service at 8:00pm. Memorial Contributions may be given to the Slippery Rock Rescue Team; PO Box 117, Slippery Rock, PA 16057 for the new construction to house their operations.2 His funeral was held at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St, Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, on 22 December 2103.      Gideon Morrow married Nancy Wakefield. Gideon Morrow was born in 1808 at Ireland. Birthyear is an approximate date. Each census has conflicting ages.1 He married Abigail Morrow between 1851 and 1860.2 Gideon Morrow died on 1 May 1897.
     He immigrated between 1841 and 1845. Children's birth places are suggesting date of immigration to US.3 He and Anne Wakefield appeared on the census of 14 September 1850 at Sugar Creek, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.1 Gideon Morrow was a merchant. on 11 September 1860 at Armstrong, Pennsylvania.2 He and Abigail Long appeared on the census of 11 September 1860 at Washington Township, Armstrong, Pennsylvania.2 Gideon Morrow was a farmer at time of this census.
