     Thelma Anetta Walker was born in 1914 at Lower Chanceford Twp., York, Pennsylvania.1 She married Lester Groff Kreider, son of Willis Groff Kreider and Margaret Wenger, in May 1938.4,2 Thelma Anetta Walker died on 30 December 2003 at Brandywine Medical Center, Chester, Pennsylvania; Thelma Kreider

Thelma A. Kreider, 89, of Harrison House and formerly of 33 North Kinzer Road, Kinzers, died at Brandywine Medical Center on Tuesday, December 30, morning following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Kreider was the wife of the late Lester G. Kreider who died in 1994. A homemaker, she had been active with the Auxiliary to the Kinzer Fire Company for many years. She was a long time member of the Kinzer Mennonite Church. She enjoyed puzzles, reading and flower and vegetable gardening. She went to the Killdeer Hunting Club in Potter County for many years with her husband.

Born in Lower Chanceford Township, York County, she was the daughter of the late Howett and Carrie Silver Walker. She is survived by a son: Robert L. married to Margaret "Sis" Kreider of Kinzers; 2 daughters: Dawn Prevost of the Mennonite Home and Nancy married to Donald McCauley of Kinzers; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; The last of her immediate family, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Kay Ellen Kreider and a grandson: James Prevost.

Mrs. Harry Ruth is a surviving sister and Alfred Clark of Columbia; Aiken (*should read Eckert) and Nathaniel Clark of Lancaster are surviving brothers. Funeral on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late home. Burial will be made in Mount Bethel Cemetery.

Unsure whether same Alexander Story listed with a first wife. His possible parents are living next door, Alexander Sr 64, and Susanna 60. Alexander Sr is recorded as being born in Ireland. Susanna born in PA.3 He witnessed is listed in directory in Salisbury Township, occupation laborer, home post office Cambridge. in 1869 at Cambridge, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.4 He and Mary Ann Feaster appeared on the census of January 1870 at Salisbury Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Also recorded in the household was Mary A. Carpenter, age 15. Alexander is listed as value of real estate, $1500, personal estate, $600, Mary Ann lists $150 in real estate.      Samuel Steward was born on 15 June 1851 at Eden Township, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.1,2,3,4 He married Elizabeth Pearson, daughter of Jacob Pearson and Eliza Russel, in 1880.5 Samuel Steward died on 11 February 1921 at Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, at age 69. Cause of death was perforated gall bladder-spreading peritonitis, contributing lobar pneumonia.2,4
