Alta M. Reinhart, 86, of 1537 Kirkwood Pike, Kirkwood, PA, died on Monday, November 5, 2007 at home. She was the wife of the late Naaman K. Reinhart who died in 1965.

Alta became an LPN in 1977 through Willow Street Vo-Tech. She worked at Ware Presbyterian Village as a nurse for 30 years, retiring this past July. She was a member of Colerain Baptist Church, Kirkwood.

She was born in Colerain Twp., daughter of the late James and Anna Gregg McFann.

She is survived by her 2 sons: J. Barrie, married to Janet Reinhart of Kirkwood, PA and Kenneth "Sam" Reinhart of Willow Street, PA; 4 grand children, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister, Leah M. Rintz.

The Funeral Service will be held at Colerain Baptist Church, 1923 Noble Road, Kirkwood on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M.. Visitation will be held at Colerain Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM. The burial will be in Colerain Baptist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Colerain Baptist Church Mission or Building Fund, 1923 Noble Road, Kirkwood, PA 17536.

Tubbs of Lynchburg; two brothers, Alex of Memphis, Tenn., and Robert Thompson of Lynchburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mildred T. Ramsden of Roanoke and Mrs. Martha T. Llewellyn of Richmond; six grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

A service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Thornrose Cemetery by the Rev. John H. J. Vernon.

The family will receive friends at Hamrick Funeral Home from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Monday.

Donations may be made to the Memorial Trust Fund of Staunton-Augusta Rescue Squad, 1601 N. Coalter St. Staunton 24401.

She was born March 31, 1920 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Samuel K. and Ada (Gregg) Hamlin, and was the widow of Milton L. Todd who died May 1988.

She attended schools in Lancaster and then moved to Atlantic City, NJ where she attended high school. Anna had worked as a sales clerk for the former Darmstetters Department Store, the Charles Department Store, and Fay Hosiery in Lancaster. She was also a waitress in several restaurants, including Haddon Hall in Atlantic City, worked as a kitchen aid at Landis Homes and as a waitress at Schock's Presbyterian Home, and in the cafeteria at the Beahm School in Mt. Joy. She was a charter member of Chiques United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women's group. She enjoyed dogs, knitting and ceramics.

Anna is survived by nieces, nephews and a cousin Sylvia Breneman of Ephrata.

Funeral services will be held on Monday July 19, 2010 at 2 PM at Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. A visitation will be held at Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel on Monday from 1 PM until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Anna's name may be made to the Landis Homes Caring Fund.
